TIMETABLE / W+K LONDON

Wieden+Kennedy needed a way to increase the efficiency of their meetings. Ico Design and Sidekick Studios came up with the Timetable, an innovative table that visually controls the length of the meetings using 10 RGB LED panels beneath the surface, each representing 1/10 of the meeting time. As the panels switch off with a non disruptive sound effect , time is counted down to when the meeting will be over and when all the panels are off, a vocal message is played signaling that the meeting is over.

Supervision by Eun-Gyeong Gwon

One of the niftiest gadgets we have seen in a while. Not only is the design impeccable but it is also incredibly useful. "The electronic budget diary scans receipts, charts money coming in/out, talks to your bank, and gives you monthly expense details so you can balance your finances more effectively - or for most people, at all. The display doubles as a touchscreen and comes with a stylus so you can manage your monies the old fashioned way too." - Image and information courtesy of the Yanko Design website.

South African Supercar

It might be the homeland bias for this editor - or perhaps the fact that the Rossion Q1 does 0-60 in 3.3 seconds. Either way South Africa's first supercar is undoubtedly a majestic machine, not to mention all of this is accomplished for under a hundred grand. Find out more about the company and the car here. All we can say is Yebo.

LG Incite

LG just announced the release of the Incite - it's first real smart phone. Time will tell whether this model is more durable than the many LG phones we have had spend months in repair. Watch out for it's release in a few months.
