LOFTCUBE / NOMADIC LIVING

Self described by the designers as "mobile living units, which can be placed on flat roofs by helicopters or cranes" the Loftcube is truly unique in both conception and design. Priced in the low $100,000's it makes for an absolutely stunning living or work space. The idea behind mobile living units such as the LoftCube is to make use of available roof space in today's mega cities. More importantly it is part of a wave of modern nomadic living spaces geared towards today's itinerant workforce. Designed by Werner Aisslinger.

GUCCI MENS RTW / SS '10

The Gucci Mens RTW spring/summer 2010 collection still carries the Native American vibe that featured on their high top sneakers earlier this year - as can be seen from the above sweater. View the rest of the collection here, take special note of the jackets - simply amazing. Images courtesy of Fashionising.

RANDOM LAMP / UNKNOWN CAFE

An r-Lie staff writer saw this lighting fixture hanging in a cafe in Cambridge, UK. The designer is unknown and the location ambiguous - but this piece simply blew us away.

HOTEL FOUQUET BARRIER / PARIS

Architect Edouard Francois was in charge of remodeling the Hotel Fouquet, which is located in the heart of Paris. The project completed in 2006 - although some work is still being done. The successful fusion of old world architecture with modern design is probably one of the greatest challenges any resortation faces - Mr. Fanchanc however has proven once again that he is worthy of his reputation.
